bonus post: CCC structures

The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) built many structures across the US, but those at Guernsey are considered to be the very best. As you can see, I got a bit carried away photographing them. 

This building is know as The Castle. It's a combination picnic pavilion & observation deck. 



 

 

All the rest of the pics are of the Visitors Center.

The museum section was fantastic. 




Though the structures are rustic, the details are wonderful.
