Fabulous day today! Was a bit frustrated as I slept poorly & got a late start. Didn't get on the trail until 9:00. 😕 However, the trail was fun from the start. That's snow in the foreground in the first pic.

About half way up, a group of 3 siblings, all around my age, caught up with me, & invited me to join their group. As locals who hike together every Wednesday, they were a font on info on the Salt Lake City area & especially the trails. Dale does his own more extensive hikes on Monday & Friday as well. Julie thought that the aspen trunks were so white that they looked painted.

Took several wildflower pics, but none turned out well. Trust me, there was a great variety of beautiful wildflowers.

Dale told me that we started at 8300' in elevation at the lower lake above, & this lake is at 9,000'. No wonder I was wheezing!

David, the 3rd sibling, recommended that I drive up to Guardsman Pass (2 pics below).

I did, & went on to Park City. It's quite a happening place, but way too busy for me. I was happy to go back over the pass & back to my little campsite by the creek. The drive over the pass was rather hair-raising, so am not looking forward to doing it in the am with the trailer.  🙏🙏🙏
