southeastern Wyoming
Came down out of the mountains into Laramie, WY, where I got a hair cut, went to the bank, & did other civilized things.
This statue is at the entrance to the U of WY stadium. These odd rock formations are in an area called Vedauwoo, just east of Laramie.
This Lincoln Memorial is also just east of WY off of I-80. These pics are for Michelle - she'll know why.
You know that you're out west when you see this guy (at every Sinclair gas station).
Am staying on a ranch outside of Cheyenne where they take in retired horses. They call it a refuge, as they will keep the horses for life, not a rescue, where they would look to re-home them. Meeting the owners & the horses, & hearing the story of each horse, was certainly a highlight of the trip. And it's located in God's country.
I am well & truly blessed.
