The Snowy Range

Spent today at or above 10,000' in the heart of the Snowy Range.

My campsite features this view & these beautiful columbines.

As I started on a walk to a lake, I found these llamas getting organized to carry packs for a group of hikers; well, their owners were getting organized.

The lake was quite lovely & worth the walk.

Watched this bull moose for 20 minutes from the safety of my truck. He didn't seem to mind vehicles stopping, but kept looking at a couple who got out of their car.

I found the contrast of the craggy peaks with the meadows below striking.
