8/15/23 - Going-to-the-Sun Road, Glacier National Park

I took WAY too many pics along this stretch of road. Even after ditching a lot of them there are still too many. Hope that you enjoy skimming quickly through them. 

The two highlights were this spot, which is considered to be one of the most photographed spots in the world, (Who measures these things?) & seeing 3 bighorn sheep right along the road. 

 

There are a number of waterfalls & cascades, but most were hard to photograph. 


A couple of manmade elements were interesting - yes, those are restrooms built into the mountainside. 


The lakes set off the mountains. 



Even some of the areas which had burned in recent years are still eerily beautiful. 




There is a wide variety of flora. 


And there were mountains, mountains, & more mountains.
