campsite visitor & a museum

When checking into the campground yesterday, the hosts warned me about coyotes visiting here, especially as my site is on the far end by the woods & isolated from the other sites. Well, after dark last night, a real thick fog moved in which even blocked the light from the boathouse across the lake - good thing I like being alone. About midnight, a coyote came quite close to the trailer, howled & yipped for maybe 5 or 6 minutes & then went away - found one of the coyotes!

Today, I went to the Kimbell Museum, which has a small but excellent collection of art from a number of places & time periods. The special exhibit was on Pierre Bonnard, an artist didn't know, & was quite well done. My limit for really enjoying a museum & processing what I'm looking at is about 3 hours, & that's how long it took me to tour both the permanent collection & the special exhibit. The complex of buildings with a huge grassy mall between 2 buildings is wonderful as well. I'll be back.

I topped off my time in Fort Worth with 2 tacos from Torchy's Tacos, a local chain mentioned on one of my podcasts.
