Cape Bonavista

Arrived this afternoon on Cape Bonavista, a popular area for visitors. This sign is a reminder of how much history is here.

The views from The Cape are beautiful.

And, of course, every cape in NL must have a lighthouse.

I'm camped at the foot of the Cabot statue for 3 nights with this view out my back window.

I saw whales on both sides of the tip of The Cape by the lighthouse, & have watched 3 of them for the last 2 hours right from my campsite - fantastic!
