Gros Morne: to the Tablelands

Yesterday, I explored Norris Point, a village in the center of Gros Morne National Park, where I stayed 5 nights. A short steep walk took me to the top of a hill for views all around, including the Tablelands, & Gros Morne Peak, the two big draws of this park.

At the visitor info centre, this sign & this piece of artwork caught my eye.

The Marine Research Centre has exhibits on whales & other marine life.

Last night, I spent a rare evening out having dinner & taking in a local show with some fellow RVers from Allentown, PA. The show was a combo of comedy & music, & it was just fantastic - amazing for this little place.

After 5 days of looking across the bay at the Tablelands (those flat bronze-colored mountains), today I drove around the bay to spend the next 5 days exploring that part of the park.
