Terra Nova NP area

Most of today was spent exploring the peninsula that runs east from the northern end of the park. It's full of lovely rocky coves & several fantastic sand beaches; the beaches were quite popular today with brilliant sunshine & 80* temp.

I've seen this sign before, but still found it amusing. Had another Newfoundland dish for lunch: fish & brewis. Fish in NL is ALWAYS cod. Any other type of fish, like salmon or halibut, will be specified, but fish is cod. Brewis is hard bread, onions & scrunchions (cubes of salted pork fat)...similar to our stuffing. As you can see, the fish & brewis are mixed together - quite tasty.

It's often too cloudy for a good sunset here, & sometimes not cloudy enough, but last night was just right.
