Left the Trinity area this morning, & stopped in the service centre of Clarenville. A service centre is a larger town that provides all the services for a BIG area of smaller towns. So, I went to Walmart, a REAL grocery store, a bank, & a laundromat. I also met a friend of a friend. (I met my friend, Betty, last winter in AZ. She grew up in Clarenville, became a nurse, & ended up in White Horse, YT, for the last 50ish years. She comes back here to visit & maintains several friendships here.)

Since I didn't do anything worth writing home about today, here are a few pics taken in various spots around NL. Many of the cemeteries here are located on sites overlooking the ocean, which makes them quite atmospheric. And old headstones have always intrigued me.
