moving on

This morning, I found that a spider has spun quite a web outside my trailer window.

Moving on today was just a short drive to the coast south of St. John's. This area is called the Irish Loop, & is know to be foggy much of the time. The first pic is a shot of the interior (since I've included so many coastal shots), & the second one is the view from my campsite for the next 5 nights.

I took so many pics in St. John's that I saved some for a lighter day.

I enjoyed walking around downtown St. John's & taking in some of the local architecture.

A famous site here is called Jelly Beans Row, a block of brightly painted homes. These 4 pics show each side of that block of houses from both ends. Jelly Beans Row is just the best know of these row home; similar blocks are scattered all over the city.

These homes are so famous that they have inspired vacation cottages to be painted this way, as well as house numbers, trash receptacles, window boxes, & bus shelters. I've been saving these pics from all over the province to include here with the original Jelly Beans.
