a museum & some rigs in Q

The local historical society runs this interesting little museum.

Well, this corner of the museum caught my interest. Walter Barrett, who built these stone replicas, was born in Farmville, NC in 1904. My grandfather, Thomas Lycurgus Barrett, was born in Farmville, NC, in 1893. Farmville has alway been a small place with a current population of around 5,000, so this guy was almost certainly some kind of a cousin of my grandfather or my mother.

Here are several rigs that were seen around Quartzite today. A truck camper tied onto a huge utility trailer is an interesting concept, & this home-built 5th wheel is unusual - both were in an RV park.  And the unusual toad is near me in a boon-docking area.
