Saguaro National Park - West

On the way to the National Park is Tucson Mountain Park, which has a similar landscape.

Around the visitors center in the National Park is a very thick stand of Saguaros & a lovely little trail with signs identifying many varieties of cactus.

This is Signal Hill, which is know for the many petroglyphs there. The vegetation along edges of the wash at the bottom of the hill is somewhat different than that nearby. The petroglyphs (bottom 2 pics) are quite varied & distinct.
