last day at Q
Tomorrow, I'll leave Dome Rock/Quartzite until next year. There are only 10 of us fiberglass folks left here from the rally, & several of us will leave tomorrow. One of the nice things about boon-docking on BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land is that no reservations are required, so folks don't need to plan ahead & make reservations. There's a 14 day limit & a free permit is required, but neither of these are enforced, & there are folks in the area who have clearly been here for many months. Consequently, folks drift in for a week or more before the rally, & drift out for a week or more after the rally.
I went into town today to do laundry & run a few errands. Most of the businesses have something funky out front to catch the eye.
I sure will miss the beautiful sunrises & sunsets...
...and the evening campfires with music & friendly folks.
