Rally Day 2

This morning, there were 2 organized activities: a swap meet & a trailer talk. At the swap meet, folks bring things to sell or give away. There's everything from jewelry & knitted items to a slightly used camp grill. Greg, a self-taught guy who does all his own trailer maintenance & repairs, gave a talk on how to repack & replace wheel bearings; I don't plan to do this, but wanted to learn enough to check on the guy doing my work.

During the afternoon, some folks were showing off their trailers. One guy has added numerous solar panels to make his trailer totally electric. He has so much power that he even has an icemaker in his outdoor kitchen. (Yes, he has an indoor kitchen as well, all in a 21' trailer.)

Officially, the afternoon music session was called off due to high winds. However, we're like homing pigeons. Six musicians played (2 guitars, a ukulele, a harmonica, wooden spoons, & a box drum) & a number of us braved the winds to listen.

Now off to an evening campfire. I'm extaordinarily blessed & never take any of this for granted.
