on to Whitehorse YT

Today's drive was very short, just 40 miles northward. Did some business first, then visited the Yukon Wildlife Preserve in Whitehorse, before having dinner with friends here.

After seeing so many animals in the wild recently, the wildlife preserve was a bit underwhelming. This Canadian ground squirrel, an un official resident, was the most entertaining animal there, & the baby elk were the cutest.

The view from my friend's dining room is lovely, & the view from the hill at the end of their street is even better.
