Jan 24 - 26

This weekend, the county hosted boat races here in the park, which made the place a zoo. Instead of scattered RVs in the dry camping area, we were now packed in.

Besides tons of people, there were boats being towed to the starting line, & then from the finish line back to their site again.

I found the "races" themselves quite boring, as only one boat went down the river at a time, & they actually had to go within a a range of time, so not too fast - not my idea of a race. I can't understand why any of these people found any of this remotely interesting to watch.

I continue to find the variety of rigs in an RV park interesting; probably other people can't understand why I find these remotely interesting.

And then there are the quirky things people put out to decorate their site.

I'll take Mother Nature's site decoration every time.
