Jan 6 - 8

The weather has been pretty nice the last 3 days with cool nights good for sleeping & mostly sunny days with highs in the 60s.

Yesterday, I visited the Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT) Museum. They don't allow photographs, so I'll just say that it has some beautiful artifacts with some decent general history, but very little interpretation of individual artifacts.

I also stopped by the CRIT Library, which is a pretty standard local library with some additional unique collections.

The Parker Library is quite interesting on the outside & beautifully landscaped.

Today, I had lunch with 3 friends, a couple from Michigan & a guy from upstate New York. They also have the same make of trailer as mine, attend some of the same rallies as me, & winter here in AZ. Besides being lots of fun, they've been most helpful teaching me about this trailer & doing some repairs & modifications.

The county RV park where I'm staying for the month abuts the Colorado River, & the promenade along the river is an excellent spot to go for a sunset stroll.
