Over the last week, my friend Jon, who is staying in the same RV park here, has helped me with a number of issues on my trailer. It's been great to understand more about how some of the electrical system works, trouble shoot several items, & fix a few items. He's a genius at this stuff & very generous with his time & expertise.

Last night, some other friends, Tom & Anne came to spend 2 nights here in this park. Today, the 4 of us went to a quirky spot a bit out in the desert called the Nellie E Saloon or The Desert Bar. It's only open Sat & Sun from noon to 6 pm Oct-April, & the whole place is run on solar panels, which double as roofs for the various buildings. There's a live band, good food, & the saloon. Access is via a bumpy 3-mile dirt road, & many patrons arrive via ATV. All the pics below are of the Desert Bar, except the last one.

                                                                                    at the entry

The "church" is used for weddings.         It's made of steel & is not very deep.

There are a number of different seating areas on different levels.

                                                       Oddities are scattered about.

                   The views were great.
                                                                                                 The company was even better.
